General Questions

What is RapidNative?

RapidNative is an AI-native prototyping platform that helps you turn prompts, images, or sketches into production-ready React Native apps in minutes.

Who is RapidNative for?

It’s built for Product Managers, Founders, Agencies/Freelancers, and Designers who need to prototype, validate, and ship apps faster.

How do I create my first app?

  1. Sign up and log in to your RapidNative account.
  2. Click New Canvas on your dashboard.
  3. Start building in one of three ways:
    • Type a prompt in the chatbox
    • Upload an image (e.g., Figma screenshot or sketch)
    • Use the Whiteboarding (Draw) tool to sketch a screen layout
  4. Your first screen is generated instantly, with additional screens queued in the Pending Tasks section.

How do I preview my screens?

Click the Preview button on your project:

  • Each screen is shown in focus, one at a time
  • Toggle between screens using the right-side screen list
  • Switch between device views (iPhone, iPad, Pixel, Galaxy, etc.) to see how layouts adapt

How does RapidNative handle multiple screens in one request?

When you ask for multiple screens (via prompt or PRD), RapidNative:

  1. Creates the first screen immediately
  2. Sends the rest to Pending Tasks
  3. Let’s you refine the first screen with inline edits
  4. Updates pending tasks based on your refinements
  5. You decide whether to generate or cancel pending tasks

Can I edit my screens after they are generated?

Yes. You can use Inline Edits to change text, layout, colours, or components directly on the canvas.

Can I undo or go back to a previous version?

Yes. With the Rollback feature, you can restore earlier versions of a screen directly from the chat section.

Do I always need to start from scratch?

No. You can remix public projects or continue building on your existing screens. RapidNative is designed to help you iterate, not restart.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You can build apps with prompts, images, or sketches.

If you do know React Native, you can:

  • Extend generated screens with APIs, logic, or styling
  • Integrate with databases or authentication
  • Keep RapidNative code as a production foundation

What kind of code does RapidNative export?

  • Clean React Native code using Expo and NativeWind
  • Ready to run locally with npx expo start
  • Editable in VS Code or GitHub

Does RapidNative replace developers?

No. RapidNative speeds up prototyping and generates clean code, but developers are still needed to extend apps, connect APIs, and scale to production.

Are my projects public or private?

  • Free plan → all projects are public (listed in Public Projects, sometimes featured in Showcase)
  • Starter/Pro plans → projects are private by default
  • Upgrading note → older free projects remain public unless manually switched to private

What are Showcase and Remixing?

  • Public Projects → full library of all public projects by free users

  • Showcase → curated set of featured projects selected by the RapidNative team

You can view any public project and remix the ones you like into your own workspace.

Can I use my own branding?

Yes. With Asset Upload, you can upload your logo and apply it across your app screens automatically.

Can I integrate my own APIs or logic?

Yes. Once you download your project, you can open it in VS Code or GitHub and add your own APIs, business logic, or integrations like authentication.

Is my data secure?

Yes.

  • All projects are stored securely in the cloud
  • Free projects are visible in the Public Projects section
  • Paid plans keep projects private
  • You always own and control your exported code

Where is my data stored?

On secure cloud servers. Once exported, your code lives fully under your control.

Can I access RapidNative on mobile?

Currently, RapidNative is a web platform. Exported apps run on iOS and Android through Expo.

Can I see examples of apps built with RapidNative?

Yes. Visit the Showcase to explore featured projects built by the community.
