Most pricing pages tell you what you get. Very few tell you when to actually buy. That's the gap this guide fills for RapidNative pricing — a full walkthrough of the Free tier, the Pro tiers ($20–$99/month), and the Team-oriented plans, with real usage math so you can figure out which plan matches how you actually build.
RapidNative pricing is structured around one core resource — AI credits — plus a handful of gates around collaboration, code export, and support. Every plan lets you generate React Native and Expo apps from natural language, but each tier unlocks a different combination of headroom, team features, and production capabilities. If you've stared at the six-column comparison table and bounced back to the homepage, you're not alone.

RapidNative pricing at a glance
Before we go deep, here's the shape of the whole system. RapidNative offers six tiers: Free (Freemium), Starter ($20/mo), Pro ($49/mo), Max ($99/mo), Ultra ($199/mo), and Enterprise (custom). In casual conversation, most people group these into three buckets:
- Free — the try-it-out plan
- Pro — the individual builder plans (Starter / Pro / Max)
- Team — the collaboration-heavy plans (Ultra and Enterprise, though Starter and above include basic team workspace features too)
Here's the snapshot version:
| Bucket | Plans | Monthly range | Credits/mo | Team seats | Code export |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Freemium | $0 | 20 (5/day cap) | No | No |
| Pro | Starter, Pro, Max | $20 – $99 | 50 – 330 | Yes, basic roles | Yes |
| Team | Ultra, Enterprise | $199 – Custom | 725+ | Advanced roles, faster SLA | Yes |
The rest of this guide unpacks each bucket, explains how credits actually work, and gives you a decision framework at the end.
The Free plan: what 20 credits actually gets you
The Free plan is the door most people walk through first. It gives you 20 AI credits per month with a 5-credit daily cap, up to 5 screens per project, and access to core AI code generation. It costs nothing, requires no credit card, and every project you build renders in real time in the browser and on your phone via Expo Go and QR code.
The daily cap matters more than the monthly total. With 5 credits a day and roughly one generation per credit on standard (non full-stack) projects, you can iterate for a solid afternoon before hitting the wall. But you can't crunch through your whole month's allowance in one Saturday session — it forces daily pacing, which for a lot of hobbyists is actually a feature, not a limitation.
What the Free plan does not include is worth knowing before you invest hours:
- No code export. You can view generated code and preview the app, but you can't download the Expo project.
- No commercial use in the spirit of the plan. The Free plan is intended for personal projects, prototyping, and learning. Paid plans grant full commercial rights to ship and sell.
- Screen cap of 5 per project. Editing existing screens, restyling, or fixing bugs isn't limited — but asking the AI to add a sixth screen will be blocked before generation runs (no credits burned) with an upgrade prompt. The cap is per project, so you can spin up unlimited new projects, each with its own 5-screen quota.
- No team workspace, no invites, no multiplayer editing.
- No private projects. Everything you build on Free is public by default.
Who should stay on Free: students learning React Native, designers evaluating whether AI can generate the layouts they sketch, product managers building throwaway prototypes to test a hypothesis with users, and anyone who wants to test the tool before spending anything.
Who should not stay on Free: anyone building an app they intend to ship, iterate on daily, or export as a real codebase.

The Pro plans ($20 – $99): where most builders live
The Pro bucket covers three plans — Starter, Pro, and Max — and represents the sweet spot for individual builders, indie founders, and freelancers. All three unlock the features that turn RapidNative from a demo into a real production tool.
What every Pro-bucket plan includes:
- Unlimited daily usage (no 5-per-day cap)
- Unlimited screens per project
- Code editor + full code export (the standard Expo/React Native project, yours to keep)
- Full commercial rights — publish to the App Store, Google Play, sell to customers, monetize
- Private projects
- Team workspace + invite team members + real-time multiplayer editing
- Priority support (24-hour response on Pro/Max, 48-hour on Starter)
- Priority access to new features
The differences between the three come down almost entirely to credit allowance.
Starter ($20/mo or $119/yr — save $121)
50 credits per month on the monthly plan, or a bundle of 450 credits per year if you pay annually. Starter is the smallest paid step up and works well if you're building slowly — a side project you touch on weekends, a client prototype you'll ship in a month or two.
At 50 credits/month, that's roughly 1–2 solid build sessions per week for a standard project, plus small edits. It's the "I've outgrown Free but I'm not full-time on this" tier.
Pro ($49/mo or $199/yr — save $389)
150 monthly credits, or 1,250 credits per year on annual. This is the plan most active indie builders and freelancers land on. Three months of Pro roughly equals a year of Starter on annual — and annual Pro at $199 is one of the most aggressive price points on the entire tier, saving nearly $400 vs monthly.
If you're building a real app you plan to ship within 90 days, Pro is almost always the right starting point.
Max ($99/mo or $399/yr — save $789)
330 monthly credits, or 2,750 credits per year on annual. Max is for builders shipping multiple projects, freelancers with a client roster, or anyone whose usage pattern is bursty — a full week of building, then a quiet stretch. The larger credit ceiling means you don't have to think about pacing.
For agencies delivering client apps, Max is often the entry point. Combined with white-label workflows and the ability to hand exported Expo projects to clients, Max frequently pays for itself on a single delivery.

The Team plans: Ultra and Enterprise
Once you have more than one person actively building in the same workspace — with clear roles, review flows, and a shared credit pool — you're in Team territory. RapidNative's Team-oriented plans are Ultra and Enterprise.
Ultra ($199/mo or $799/yr — save $1,589)
725 monthly credits, or 6,050 credits per year on annual. Ultra is where the collaboration story fully unlocks:
- Advanced role-based permissions — instead of the basic roles you get on Pro/Max, Ultra supports finer-grained access control across the team workspace.
- Same 24-hour priority support as Pro tiers, but the credit ceiling supports 3–5 active builders working in parallel without stepping on each other's budget.
- All the standard Pro features (unlimited screens, code export, private projects, multiplayer editing) at team scale.
Annual Ultra at $799 comes out to roughly $67 per month effective — which is less than paying for two individual Pro seats. For any real team of 3+ people, Ultra is almost always the better economic choice than stacking Pro seats.
Enterprise (Custom pricing)
Enterprise unlocks two things that don't exist on any other tier:
- Custom development services — hands-on assistance from the RapidNative team for integrations, custom onboarding, and non-standard workflows.
- 4-hour response SLA — a step up from the 24-hour priority support on lower plans.
Everything else that ships on Ultra is included, and credit allowances are quoted based on team size and usage. Enterprise is aimed at organizations with procurement processes, compliance requirements, and multi-team deployments — think mid-size product companies using RapidNative as their internal mobile app factory, or agencies scaling white-label delivery across dozens of clients simultaneously.
How credits actually work (and why full-stack is different)
The single most misunderstood part of RapidNative pricing is credits. Here's the honest version.
For standard (non full-stack) projects, credits work the way you'd expect: each AI generation costs a flat 1 credit. A small tweak costs 1 credit. Adding a whole new screen with 200 lines of code costs 1 credit. Simple.
For full-stack projects, RapidNative switched to usage-based pricing. The cost of a generation reflects how much work it actually did — small changes cost a fraction of a credit, large builds cost more. This is documented in depth in our breakdown of the credit system, but the short version: full-stack generations include backend schema, API routes, and mobile UI, so a flat 1-credit price would either overcharge for small edits or undercharge for full app scaffolds. Usage-based pricing is fairer in both directions.
A few practical rules that trip people up:
- Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not carry over. Use them or lose them.
- Annual plans grant a larger credit bundle once per year instead of monthly refreshes. If you go annual on Pro, you get 1,250 credits granted upfront, not 150/month for 12 months. Pace yourself accordingly.
- Running out of credits pauses AI generation only — your projects, existing screens, previews, and shares remain fully accessible. Upgrade or wait for the reset.
- Blocked actions don't consume credits. If you hit the 5-screen limit on Free, no credit is burned on the failed generation.
- Extra credit top-up packs are available on paid plans, so you don't have to jump a whole tier just to finish a build in a heavy month.
Monthly vs annual: the 50% savings math
RapidNative's annual billing is aggressive — roughly a 50% effective discount vs monthly on most tiers. Here's the raw math:
| Plan | Monthly (12 × price) | Annual | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $240/yr | $119/yr | $121 |
| Pro | $588/yr | $199/yr | $389 |
| Max | $1,188/yr | $399/yr | $789 |
| Ultra | $2,388/yr | $799/yr | $1,589 |
Annual is the obvious pick if you know you'll keep using the tool. But there's a catch: annual plans grant credits as a one-time yearly bundle, not monthly refills. On the Pro plan, that means 1,250 credits dropped into your account at renewal instead of 150 per month. If your usage is steady, that's fine — 1,250 ÷ 12 ≈ 104/month effective. If you tend to front-load a project in the first two months, you might exhaust the bundle early and need top-ups later.
The rule of thumb: if you're new to RapidNative, start monthly for one billing cycle to calibrate your usage, then switch to annual once you know your rhythm. If you're an established builder, annual is almost always the right economic choice.
Which plan should you pick? A decision framework
Here's the framework, based on how you actually build:
Pick Free if: you're evaluating the tool, learning React Native / Expo, or building 1–2 personal prototypes with no plans to ship.
Pick Starter ($20) if: you have a specific side project you'll ship within 60–90 days, you want commercial rights and code export, and your usage is roughly one build session per week.
Pick Pro ($49) if: you're an indie builder, freelancer, or founder actively shipping an app. This is the default recommendation for most active users. Annual Pro at $199 is the best value-per-credit on the entire pricing table for a single builder.
Pick Max ($99) if: you're building multiple projects in parallel, have client work with real deadlines, or your usage is bursty (a full week of building followed by a quiet stretch).
Pick Ultra ($199) if: you have a team of 2–5 people building together, need advanced role-based permissions, or are running an agency delivering multiple client apps monthly.
Pick Enterprise if: you have procurement, compliance, or SLA requirements, need custom onboarding or development services, or are deploying RapidNative across multiple teams inside a larger organization. Contact the enterprise team for a custom quote.

Frequently asked pricing questions
Do I own the code I generate on any paid plan?
Yes. You own 100% of the code. RapidNative outputs standard React Native and Expo code that lives in your project and your repo. There's no vendor lock-in — export at any time and continue building with your own developers. This is covered in depth in our code ownership post.
Can I use apps I build for commercial purposes?
Every paid plan (Starter and above) grants full commercial rights to ship, sell, and monetize the apps you build, including publishing to the App Store and Google Play. The Free plan is intended for personal projects, prototyping, and learning.
What happens when I run out of credits?
AI generation pauses until your credits reset at the start of the next billing period, you upgrade the plan, or you buy an extra top-up credit pack. Projects, screens, previews, and sharing remain fully accessible. This is covered in the pricing FAQ.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, at any time, with no cancellation fees. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds may be granted for technical or system errors, duplicate charges, or unintended purchases within 7 calendar days (with no usage). Refunds are not available for change of mind or partial usage. Full details in the refund policy.
Do team members share a credit pool?
Yes. On Team-workspace plans (Starter and above), invited team members generate against the workspace's shared credit allowance. This means one Ultra plan supports several active builders without stacking individual seats.
What about App Store submission?
App Store and Play Store publishing is a separate, flat-fee service handled through RapidNative Deploy — not part of the subscription tiers above. It covers the build, review, and submission process end to end.
The bottom line on RapidNative pricing
If you take one thing away from this guide: don't overthink it. Start on Free to evaluate. Move to Pro ($49/mo, or $199/yr) once you're actively building an app you plan to ship — that's where most builders land and stay. Jump to Max when you're building multiple projects or delivering client work. Move to Ultra when you have real teammates in the workspace.
RapidNative's pricing is designed around one core question: how much are you actually building? If the answer is "a lot," annual Pro or Max is a rounding error against the value of shipping a real, code-exportable mobile app in a fraction of the time traditional development takes. If the answer is "not sure yet," Free is genuinely free — and there's no urgency to upgrade until your usage pattern tells you to.
