RapidNative turns your idea into a real, native iOS and Android app.

About RapidNative

Building native apps for everyone with an idea.

RapidNative is an AI mobile app builder that turns a plain-English prompt into a real, native iOS and Android app — built on React Native and Expo, with code you own. We're a Bangalore-based, remote-first team.

What people ship

Who we are

We believe building an app for the phone in your pocket should be open to anyone — not just specialised mobile teams.

Our mission is to take you from an idea to a real app on the App Store and Google Play — in minutes, not months.

We picture a world where shipping a native mobile app is as natural as writing a doc.

What we're building

An AI app builder that ships real native apps.

Most AI builders make websites. Wrapped as mobile apps, they get rejected by Apple and can't reach the camera, push notifications or GPS. RapidNative generates real React Native and Expo apps instead, so what you describe is a production app from the first prompt.

  • Generates real React Native and Expo code, not a web view in an app shell
  • Full-stack by default: database, auth, file storage and realtime included
  • Native device features like camera, push notifications, GPS and biometrics
  • Publish to the App Store and Google Play, or export the code and ship it yourself
  • Real-time collaboration, with shareable previews before your app is finished

Under the hood

How RapidNative turns a prompt into a real app.

We rebuilt the heavy parts of mobile development — the Linux box, the bundler, the backend — so they run in the browser or spin up per request. That's what makes previews instant and keeps every project isolated.

  1. 01

    You describe the app

A prompt, a screenshot, a PRD or a whiteboard sketch. Plain words in any language.

  2. 02

An AI agent writes the code

Each request boots a fresh sandbox — Lifo, a Linux-like OS in JavaScript — with your project files and a real Postgres (PGlite), so the agent edits files, runs migrations and checks the actual schema instead of guessing.

  3. 03

    It bundles in your browser

browser-metro, a Metro-compatible bundler, builds the app right in the browser. npm packages are pre-bundled and served from a CDN, so previews start in seconds.

  4. 04

    Preview anywhere

Live in the browser, as a PWA, or on your own phone via an Expo QR code, served by ORCHD — our orchestrator for running thousands of small apps on one box.

  5. 05

    Ship to the stores

Deploys are full snapshots of your project, never partial patches. Publish to the App Store and Google Play, or export the code.

What your app is built with

  • React Native
  • Expo
  • Expo Router
  • TypeScript
  • NativeWind
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Postgres
  • Supabase-compatible APIs
  • Lucide icons

“Prototyping our React Native app with this tool

Really cool experience so far.

Communicating the app vision with the team took less than an hour compared to waiting for a UI/UX designer to join the meeting.”

“I just tried this tool to spin up a small event-scheduling Expo app from a one-sentence prompt and was honestly shocked at how clean the generated code looked.”

“No way—turning prompts directly into React Native & Expo apps? That's exactly what I need to prototype ideas faster. Does it handle custom components too, or just standard ones?”

“Great job! It would be awesome if one of the samples included a longer, one-shot prompt to cut down on back-and-forth feedback. Also, allowing AI to reference actual FigJam boards could help it better understand the creator's intent—not just the design itself.”

“Amazing! And looks really promising, definitely giving it a try.

I was actually searching for something exactly like this! Being a backend engineer I always wanted to try and develop my own mobile app, and then i thought with AI I should be able to experiment easier and have my learning curve improved, but eventually hit a wall with all promt-to-code website only providing web react or other web solutions.

So thanks for building it!”

FAQ

Questions about RapidNative

What is RapidNative?

RapidNative is an AI mobile app builder. You describe an app in plain English and RapidNative builds a real, native iOS and Android app using React Native and Expo, with screens, navigation, a backend, auth and a database included. You can publish it to the App Store and Google Play or export the source code.

Who founded RapidNative?

RapidNative was founded by Sanket Sahu, who leads the company. The company behind RapidNative is Shaper Studio Inc.

Who is Sanket Sahu?

Sanket Sahu is the founder of RapidNative and Shaper Studio Inc. He co-founded GeekyAnts, a global design and development company, and created NativeBase, BuilderX and gluestack. He now builds RapidNative full-time.

Where is RapidNative based?

RapidNative is based in Bangalore (Bengaluru), India, and the team works remote-first.

What technology does RapidNative use?

RapidNative generates React Native and Expo code — the same stack used by companies like Meta, Shopify and Discord. One codebase targets iOS, Android and the web.

How does RapidNative work under the hood?

RapidNative runs an AI coding agent inside a fresh sandbox for every request: Lifo, a Linux-like OS in JavaScript, plus an in-memory Postgres database so the agent can run migrations and inspect the real schema. The app is bundled in the browser by browser-metro, previewed in the browser or on a phone via Expo, and deployed as a full snapshot to the App Store and Google Play.

Do I own the code RapidNative generates?

Yes. RapidNative produces standard React Native code that you can export at any time and keep in your own repository. There are no proprietary formats and no lock-in.

How is RapidNative different from web-first AI app builders?

Web-first builders make websites. When those are wrapped as mobile apps, Apple often rejects them under guideline 4.2, and they cannot use the camera, push notifications, GPS or biometrics. RapidNative builds real native apps that ship to the App Store and Google Play with native device features from day one.

Who is RapidNative for?

RapidNative is built for startup founders, product managers, designers, freelancers, agencies and React Native developers who want to go from an idea to a working mobile app with AI.

Is RapidNative free to try?

Yes. You can start building on RapidNative with 20 free credits and no credit card. Paid plans add more credits — see the pricing page for current plans.

Is RapidNative open source?

The RapidNative app builder is a hosted product, but the infrastructure built for it is open source under the MIT license, including tinbase, Lifo, ReactNative.run, ORCHD, jetplane.
