Common Questions, Answered
What happens to my Lovable app?
Nothing. It stays live as your web app. Mobile changes happen in RapidNative. They don't sync — most customers make RapidNative the source of truth.
Is this a web wrapper?
No. We rebuild it as a real React Native app with native navigation, gestures, and device API access. Wrappers are what Apple's Guideline 4.2 rejects.
Does my Supabase backend still work?
Yes, unchanged. No data migration needed.
Can I submit my Lovable app directly to the App Store or Play Store?
Not as-is. Lovable builds web apps, and wrapping a web app in a shell is exactly what Apple's Guideline 4.2 was written to reject. Getting a Lovable app approved requires a real native build, which is what we produce.
Why is App Store and Play Store submission so time-consuming?
Certificates, provisioning, screenshots at every device size, privacy labels, Google Data Safety forms, account deletion, Guideline 4.2 review notes: any one of these can cost you a week. We do them all.
How long does it take?
iOS: 1-2 weeks. Android with an organization account: 1-2 weeks. Android with a personal account: 4-5 weeks (14-day tester period is not compressible).
