7 Lovable alternatives that publish to the App Store

Lovable is great at web apps, but it does not make mobile apps. Its own docs say it does not generate React Native projects and has no built-in way to submit to the App Store or Google Play.

These seven alternatives keep the prompt-to-app feel and produce apps you can actually publish. Each one is listed with how publishing works and what it costs to ship.

The key question

Can Lovable publish to the App Store?

Not on its own. Lovable builds web apps, and publishing always deploys to a web address. Its docs offer two workarounds: turn the site into a Progressive Web App that people add to their home screen, or wrap the published site with a tool such as Capacitor outside Lovable and submit that.

A wrapper can pass review, but Apple's Guideline 4.2 rejects apps that are mostly a repackaged website, and wrapped apps often feel like a web page. A native app, built with React Native, Flutter, Swift or Kotlin, avoids both problems. That is the difference between a general AI app builder and an AI React Native app builder.

Already on Lovable

Already built your app in Lovable?

You do not have to start over. There are three paths, from quickest to most native:

Wrap it yourself. Package the published site with Capacitor and submit it. It is the fastest route, but you maintain the wrapper and carry the Guideline 4.2 risk.

Have it published for you. We publish Lovable apps to the App Store and Google Play for a flat fee, including signing, store assets and review.

Convert it to a native app. Move your Lovable project to RapidNative and get a React Native app you can keep editing with AI and publish to both stores.

Decision guide

How to choose a Lovable alternative

One codebase or two. React Native and Flutter ship iPhone and Android from one project. Swift and Kotlin mean two apps that you keep in sync.

Who presses publish. Some tools build and submit for you, some leave the Expo or Xcode build to you. New Google Play accounts also need a 12-tester closed test before launch.

Keep the web app. Most teams keep Lovable for the website and add a mobile app next to it, both on the same Supabase backend.

Compare the full cost. Look at credits, hosting and the plan you need for store builds, not just the entry price. Our pricing page lists every RapidNative plan.

Methodology

How we picked these tools

We included AI-first builders that people commonly compare with Lovable and that can produce an app for the App Store or Google Play. Each was compared on output, how publishing works, code export and the price of the first plan that lets you ship.

Facts come from each vendor's official pricing page and documentation and were checked on the date shown above. RapidNative is our product, so we list its limitations alongside everyone else's.

FAQ

Lovable alternatives: common questions

Can Lovable publish to the App Store?

Not directly. Lovable’s own docs say it builds web apps, does not generate React Native projects and has no built-in flow to submit to the App Store or Google Play. It suggests a Progressive Web App, or wrapping the published site with a tool such as Capacitor outside Lovable.

What is the best Lovable alternative for mobile apps?

For a native app on both stores from one codebase, RapidNative. For fully native Swift and Kotlin, Rork. For web and mobile in one tool, Emergent. If you want to stay in Flutter, DreamFlow.

Which Lovable alternatives publish to both the App Store and Google Play?

RapidNative, Rork, Emergent and DreamFlow all reach both stores. Replit Agent publishes to the App Store but not yet to Google Play. Bolt.new leaves the store build to you, and Base44 publishes a wrapped web app.

Can I keep my Lovable Supabase backend?

Usually, yes. Lovable apps commonly use Supabase, and both RapidNative and Rork can connect to your own Supabase project, so your data and logins carry over to the mobile app.

Will Apple accept a wrapped Lovable app?

Sometimes. Apple’s Guideline 4.2 rejects apps that are mostly a repackaged website, so a wrapper needs real app features to pass review. A native app built with React Native, Swift or Kotlin avoids that risk.

What do I need to publish a mobile app?

An Apple Developer account ($99 a year) and a Google Play developer account ($25 once). New personal Google Play accounts also need a closed test with 12 testers for 14 days. Cloud builds mean you do not need a Mac.

I already built my app in Lovable. Do I have to start over?

No. You can wrap it yourself, have it published to the App Store for you, or convert it into a native React Native app with RapidNative and keep building from there.
